Would You Like To Play Global Thermonuclear War?
OK, so the Institute for Creative Technologies is devising strategies to make war more like video games. But in the meantime, the video game industry is donating consoles to our submarine navy, so they have something to do down there when they're not doing, uh, whatever it is that submarines do.
I'm not against this per se, there's just something rather disturbing about the idea of navy guys sitting on top of a nuclear reactor inside a tin can, a couple miles below the ocean, carrying out exercises on a combat flight simulator. Actually, there are more disturbing scenarios, if I think about it.

Global thermonuclear war is perhaps the only real scenario and last possbility that modern warfare can evolve into considering how modern weapons, strategy and tactics, and weapons technology have evolved from medieval warfare (swords and shields) to today's doomsday weapons, such as intecontinental ballistic missiles and thermonuclear warhead tipped multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicles. This means that World War 3 will be fought with nuclear weapons, and that World War 4, should mankind even exist at that point in time, will be fought with sticks and stones, as we will have devolved ourselves into a state of dumb beasts and primordial neanderthal cavemen.
Thermonuclear war is a very important issue, and to think that many other countrys have hydrogen bombs and nuclear weapons. Whats a defence? That can be very scary.
