[something about non-slip soles]

Jenna shills for Pony. Elliott gets a little more introspective than usual. Porn, apparently, is much more philosophically disturbing than corporate domination.

Pop-ups on the first link, don't say I didn't warn you but surely you could guess.

Not only is the use of porn stars in advertising something I've been waiting to do for years and years, and not only did the NY Times get to the story before I did, but I can't even be the first one on saturation.org.

I am old and slow. I blame pornography.

I have to post something for moveable type to remember my email address. Like that's so important this second.

But maybe someone can tell me what % of porn "stars" formerly appeared in advertisements? Like those Nivea women. Do they have a movie?

What Nivea women?

The ones with the perfect skin. Is there perfect skin porn?

porn beats getting press through an eco (both -nomical and -logical) disaster.

as for porn stars in ads, i think marilyn chambers started the trend as an ivory soap girl (though i think she was an ivory girl before a porn star).

I'm sure Traci Lords did something for somebody when she was coming out of porn-land.

db -- you want me to turn off the Moveable Type Total Information Awareness plugin?

Traci Lords did a lot of things for a lot of people.
