what are we seeing in this picture? are we to believe u.s. troops are looting treasures? Where's it from?
A not-so-reputable source, I'm afraid, that wants us to believe that yes, indeed, the U.S. is looting palaces for gold etc. However, on CNN, another not-so-reputable source, there were interviews with Iraqi civilians who swore they saw a Kuwaiti man hand the keys to a bank to the US troops who then proceeded to go in and make off with the money. But it's all rumormongering.
Anyhow, the soldier doesn't look as if he's prying gold off with a crowbar. I think he's liberating the seal with Saddam's face on it.
