AddYourOwn (DYI Zagats) and Distributed Proofreading (DYI Project Gutenberg). Unlike my beloved MeFi, these loose-community sites have more of a satisfying cumulative effect as they get older.

Also note the # of entries in Park Slope vs Williamsburg. Sweet gravy, the Slope is fully of freelance nerds.
