In July 1897, Solomon August Andrée and crew set off by hot-air balloon in an attempt to fly to the North Pole. They disappeared without a trace. Thirty-three years later, an expedition found the remains of the expedition, which had crashed three days into the trip. Among the wreckage, a camera.
