NEWS CORP.'S Fox News was incorrectly described in a page-one article Monday as being sympathetic to the Bush cause.

The bunch of photos of political types in the current NYorker is excellent. One of the Billionaires for Bush is raising a metallic gold driving glove fist, ala the black athletes in Mexico City, '69.

I thought the last spread in that portfolio, with Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, was the most beautiful political magazine spread of the year.

A letter to amNew York newspaper this morning noted that the good old Democratic party led by inspiring people like Moynihan and Carter morphed into a dispappointing Democratic Party of Clinton, Gore, and Daschle and so we shouldn't expect anything great from a party led by such people.
