Posted by dbrown at January 31, 2005 06:22 PMThe local ABC affiliate, drawing on national reporting, just identifed Jackson's gesture as his old standard, the victory symbol. Not having followed Jackson's career and consequences since 1982, I had not realized that he was being self-referential. Seems to be a theme.
(In fact-checking the date of the Victory Tour, I discovered that Jackson's first son is named Prince Michael Jackson. I wish I was still ignorant of that.)
