In two weeks it'll be the longest day in the year....Do you always watch for the longest day of the year and then miss it? I always watch for the longest day in the year and then miss it." -- Daisy, the great gatsby.

rumors about town

from the accord-kerhonksen new site:

"In response to the legal advice, the Fire District adopted a policy prohibiting the regular use of Fire District equipment for the benefit of private individuals or enterprises. He also indicated that the former policy of the fire department filling private residential swimming pools using [Accord Fire Department] equipment and calling such activity “training exercises,” has also ended."

temporary insanity

Found in a thrift store book -- Woody Allen's Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) -- several pages of notes on what I believe were meant to be TV shows. (But maybe movies?)

"Temporary Insanity: temp in NY discovers ... what? becomes unwitting participant in caper of international dimensions -- w/ Japanese? female, attractive, laid-off with degree from Yale -- maybe she knew Prez's son -- and somehow that becomes part of the story"

"Coach: comedy about Dana Kirk-like character + his run 'n gun basketball team -- set in '70s"

"Faculty Senate: A sitcom with lots of wacky characters"

seventy six trombones in the big parade

76Blowjobs.jpg

a conversation with toby and kevin about that lego fight club thing that's all the rage for the next 23 minutes, led me back to Jason Salavon's work, last noted by kevin in April 2004 (thank you, this artificial and combined memory). Above, "76 blowjobs." More here, including every playboy centerfold and 100 special moments. don't miss. don't forget
